Dr. Bert Padron graduated in 1990 from the University of Florida with a B.S. in zoology, and he received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1994. He received his board certification from the American Board of Surgery, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He trained in Emergency Medicine at Richland Memorial Hospital at the University of South Carolina, and in general surgery at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida. He completed his Surgical Residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center in 2000. Dr. Padron is fluent in English and Spanish and is certified in robotic surgery. His research interests include advanced laparoscopic surgery and breast disease. He is committed to patient satisfaction and the highest quality outcomes. As far as relaxation, exercise is a big part of his life as well as travel, surfing, and skiing.
